BALTIMORE, MARYLAND DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with slight shoulder, round rim, and beaded neck ring. Bold brushed cobalt horizontal feathered leaf design repeated three times to shoulder. Second half 19th century. 9 3/4" H, 5 1/2" D rim. Condition Excellent, undamaged condition. Manufacturing flaws including glazed over chip to rim, as made.
