BALTIMORE, MARYLAND DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "3" gallon capacity mark, tall ovoid form with slightly flaring squared rim, beaded neck ring, and applied arched tab handles. Brushed cobalt horizontal flower and foliage decoration repeated twice on each side, additional cobalt at handle terminals and below. Circa 1850. 14" H, 7 3/4" D rim.Condition Having a moderate radial hairline extending approximately halfway around vessel at medial body with some arms extending to just above base.
