THOMAS AMOSS ATTRIBUTED BALTIMORE, MARYLAND OR HENRICO CO., VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with slight rounded shoulder and rounded rim. Brushed and slip-trailed cobalt design featuring an alternating oval and horizontal graduated arrowhead design to shoulder. Thomas Amoss, possibly with William Morgan, Baltimore, MD or Thomas Amoss, Henrico Co., VA. Circa 1825. 10 1/2" H, 6 1/8" D rim.Condition Having a 1 1/4" L chip to rim, primarily to interior, otherwise undamaged.
