ASSORTED METAL FRAME SPECTACLES OR EYEGLASSES, LOT OF TEN, mostly oval or round lenses/frames and including a couple octagonal examples, one with light blue lenses, other lens colors including cobalt, and light or dark smoky grays, various metals including mostly blued steel and some unidentified plated metals, and two brass frames both stamped "Schildknecht", a few spectacles with straight sliding-pin extension temples and some double-hinged. Various makers. Mid to late 19th century. 5 3/4" LOA.Condition Fair to very good overall condition, each with light to moderate routine wear and some bending especially to temples in some cases severe, some with moderate or heavy corrosion and a couple with loose/replacement pins; one temple missing on the blue octagonal-lens example, largest plated example lacking lenses.
