GOLD FRAME SPECTACLES IN DISPLAY CASES / SALESROOM SETS, LOT OF TWO, one set of four in a blue paper and fabric tri-fold case marked "Cushion-Lock / PROTECTED LENSES" and a set of eight in a tan and bronze-colored marbleized divider box marked "Quality Frames / Highly Styled", several spectacles having bifocal lenses, 11 of the 12 frames are gold filled and marked "1/10 12K GF". Various makers. Early to mid 20th century. 12 3/4" x 8" larger case.Condition Spectacles mostly excellent and unused condition except for some corrosion to nosepad screws and age related cracking and discoloration to rubber components; cases in fair condition with good visual condition but having multiple rips, tears to paper or fabric, and old tape repairs, and blue box missing its button closure.
