STAMPED "F. B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS.", MASSACHUSETTS DECORATED STONEWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each having Albany-slip glazed interior, comprising a jug, "3" gallon capacity mark, beehive form with strap handle, and a jar, "2" gallon capacity mark, cylindrical form with slight shoulder, flat-top rounded rim with interior gallery, having a cover together by association. Each having slip-trailed cobalt stylized floral design to front, additional cobalt across stamp. Frank Norton (1826-1886) and Frederick Hancock (1817-1903), Worcester, MA. 1856-1877. 11 1/4" H, 7 1/4" D rim, jug 15 1/4" HOA. Condition Excellent, undamaged condition.
