A desirable early New England Stoneware Jug featuring a Parrot on a Floral Sprig. This is a very rare (1.5 Gallons!), and clearly impressed: F.B. NORTON & CO., WORCESTER, MASS. The mark dates between 1858-1877, when Frank Norton and Frederick Hancock ran this well-known Massachusetts pottery. Please note ding in base (lower left), nick on inner spout and faint spidering in the glaze (lower left & front). Otherwise, mint. The decoration is one of the very best I have seen. Super thick cobalt and zero fry. Please see photos for further description, close-ups and details. Measures 8"W x 12"H. This ships double-boxed with full insurance and delivery confirmation. 10-Days. Bidding starts at $0.99. Best of luck and Happy Holidays. Please browse my other Listings ending shortly with much more to come in 2013!!!Posted with eBay Mobile
