Cover 1928 Lindbergh again flies the air mail with 2x2 Lindy poster stamp Long cover (9.5 x 4.2 in., 24 x 10.5 cm) franked with a 10c air post stamp and postmarked Feb. 20, 1928 St. Louis MO adressed to the Norton Company, Worcester, MA. Horseshoe stamp "Lindbergh again flies the air mail" Chicago- St. Louis C.A.M. 2, St. Louis MO 2-20-28". A black-on-blue 2x2 poster stamp (M4507) "Lindy" carried this letter from ME to YOU" is glued in the top left corner. Cover is back-stamped New York, NY Feb. 21, 1928. Enclosed letter from Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association (AERA) dated Feb. 20, 1928 to the Norton Company in Worcester praising Lindbergh's exploits and inviting them to their annual convention. Both companies are still in existence today, Norton Co is now Saint-Gobain Abrasives since 2001.Cover was cut open on 3 sides, top left and right. Some cuts and creases along the edges. A small piece of the flap is loose. A small piece of the blue poster stamp has come off on top edge.
