COLORED AND TINTED LENS PINCE-NEZ EYEGLASSES, LOT OF 12, mostly round and oval shaped lenses of various colors including orange-amber, light yellow, cobalt blue, and light or dark smoky lenses, each with varying metal, gold-filled, steel and some cork components, two with original boxes one of which is marked "SHELLOID GLARE GLASSES". Various makers. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. 4 1/2" LOA.Condition Excellent condition overall, several examples undamaged, others with minor bending and/or corrosion to metal parts of bridges or nose pieces; one box heavily discolored and tattered.
