ASSORTED AIR FORCE / MILITARY ISSUE PROTECTIVE SPECTACLES / GOGGLES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising an American Optical Co. manufactured Variable-Density Goggle issued to Air Force gunners, with original tin and a couple envelopes for replacement lenses plus instruction manual explaining its use "for tracking a target in the vicinity of and across the face of the sun", a WWII era leather fur-lined red-plastic lens goggle marked on the inside with the AO monogram and "U.S. 1945", a steel-framed amber-plastic lens goggle stamped "AERO PEAK / PERELES BROS. / MILWAUKEE", and a pair of wire framed servicemens' gas mask spectacles specially designed to be worn under a respirator, with case. Together with a "Nod And Shake" pair of Gas Tight Rubber Goggles "For the use of FIREMEN, CHEMICAL WORKERS..." etc. in its cardboard box. Five pieces total. Various makers.
