ANTIQUE / VINTAGE FRENCH AND CANADIAN VIEWS AND RELATED STANHOPE ARTICLES, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising several French examples consisting of a bone sewing/manicure tool with view of Chateau de Chambord, a carved wood or plastic cross pendant with "Le Clocher" view, a metal pair of binoculars charm/fob with St. Etienne du Mont views, two other binoculars with images including Napoleon, and a blue plastic barrel-form charm/fob attached to a pin fastener with Lourdes view, and two Canadian examples featuring a pair of binoculars fob with mother-of-pearl including an image of Couvent des Soeurs Franciscaines Missionnaires de Marie in Quebec, and a monocular with image after William Notman (Scottish-Canadian, 1826-1891) of Ashton Oxenden (English, 1808-1892), who was elected as bishop of Montreal and served from 1869 to 1878. Together with a small plastic camera-form featuring "Souvenir de Paris" to back and housing a miniature viewfinder with rotating images controlled by the shutter release. Nine pieces total. Late 19th/first half 20th century.
