ASSORTED LACQUERED AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID SPECTACLES CASES, LOT OF 13, mostly wood or papier mache bodies with black lacquered surfaces and a couple with red marbling, some inlaid with mother-of-pearl geometric borders or floral decorations, others with gilt transfer designs, primarily oblong frog-mouth cases of various sizes and a couple slip cases and clamshell style. Various makers. 19th century. 7" LOA.Condition Very good to excellent condition, some mostly undamaged with solid functioning hinges, others having corroded hinges or some losses or small cracks to surface; spots of fading to decorations.
