This is a very beautiful vintage Japanese Black Lacquer Serving Plate.The black lacquer round serving tray has a scalloped edge with mother of pearl wise men inlaid in the center and mother of pearl flowers inlaid around edge. It has a 12"diameter and has a hook for hanging on the back (see photo).This tray can be used for food serving, picnics or to store jewelry or hair clips etc. it is made of lacquered hard plastic. Made in Japan.This beautiful Japanese piece is in very good condition.This beautiful Tray would make a great addition to your collection, or as a gift for your favorite Japanese treasures collector!
