ANTIQUE / VINTAGE AMERICAN VIEW STANHOPE ARTICLES, LOT OF 11, comprising several carved bone / faux-bone charms, fobs, and other articles with stanhopes consisting of two binoculars with Atlantic City views, a pair of binoculars and a small tool with views of Pikes Peak in Colorado, a Washington, DC pair of binoculars, a Washington Headquarters monocular, two New York City view monoculars, a Philadelphia pair of binoculars, and a monocular featuring a view of a suspended boulder in the Franconia Mountains in New Hampshire, and a carved wood barrel-form fob with souvenir of Catskill stanhope. Some pieces marked "MADE IN FRANCE". Late 19th/first half 20th century. Small tool 1 5/8" LOA.Condition Good to very good overall condition with minor to moderate wear and/or other imperfections including surface scratches, slight bending to metal components, and/or nicks; some images with fading or other imperfections; a few stanhopes possibly reattached with glue.
