ANTIQUE / VINTAGE STANHOPE AND OTHER ARTICLES, LOT OF 16, comprising two carved needle/sewing cases each lacking bottom having one without stanhope and the other with a stanhope lens lacking image, a small magnifying glass with stanhope lens lacking image, a pair of gold-filled binoculars fob with stanhope lenses lacking images, a case cap / stopper being threaded with stanhope view of "White City", a miniature magnifying glass, a pairing of microphotograph slides by John Benjamin Dancer (British, 1812-1887) having original labels, and eight pieces lacking stanhopes including two button hooks, and two pairs of binoculars fobs. Second half 19th/first half 20th century. Various sizes.Condition Mostly good to very good overall condition with minor to moderate wear and other imperfections including surface scratches, nicks, discoloration, one or a few flakes, and/or worn spots on metal finishes; most pieces missing stanhopes.
