STAMPED NEW YORK DECORATED STONEWARE JUGS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each of beehive form with strap handle, Albany-slip glazed interior, and additional cobalt across stamps, comprising a "LEHMAN & RIEDINGER / POUGHKEEPSIE NY" example, "2" gallon capacity mark, featuring brushed cobalt double-bloom flower design to front, and a "BINGHAMTON NY" example, approximately one-gallon capacity, having a slip-trailed cobalt stylized floral design to front. Circa 1875. 10" and 12 1/8" HOA.Condition Lehman & Riedinger example having scattered chips to base edge and some glaze exfoliation to shoulder; Binghamton example with completely reconstructed handle and restoration to mouth and faint radial hairlines to base underside.
