PENNSYLVANIA OPTOMETRIST ADVERTISING POCKET MIRRORS, LOT OF EIGHT, round tin/metal bodies housing glass-pane mirrors on one side, each with celluloid backings lithographed with advertising for Pennsylvania opticians, including two Reading, a Forest City, an Allentown, a Pennsburg, and a Huntingdon, four of these with polychrome birthstones & months borders. Together with a similar mirror having a portrait and advertising for noted York, PA philanthropist Mahlon Haines aka "The Shoe Wizard". Nine pieces total. 19th and 20th century. 2 1/4" DOA.Condition Very good to excellent condition, most with only light or moderate corrosion to metals and some staining or losses to under-glass mirror surfaces; most advertising in excellent shape except for Allentown example heavily discolored with a cracked/peeling surface.
