OPTOMETRIST'S OFFICE / MEDICAL DEVICES, LOT OF THREE, comprising a marked Morton's Ophthalmoscope made by Curry & Paxton, London with removable bone handle fit in a period felt-backed and leather-bound case, a similar unmarked bone-handled ophthalmoscope lacking its case, and a metal adjustable trial lens frame / sizer with graduated measurements and functioning gears, embossed at inner frame "PAT. NOV.6.94". Various makers. Late 19th/early 20th century. 8" LOA.Condition Cased ophthalmoscope excellent with some staining to mirrors and some probably as-made chipping to glass; loose ophthalmoscope very good with some loss to paint and surface; trial lens frame with moderate to heavy rusting and corrosion to some components and an old repair or two to screws, but seemingly operable.
