AMERICAN SEWER TILE FIGURAL DOG DOORSTOP, gritty textured chocolate brown glaze over red clay, right-facing Staffordshire-style dog with folky carved/incised details to eyes, nose, eyelashes, and mouth, and circular pressed embellishments to collar, open-bottomed. Unsigned, probably Ohio origin.
