THEODORE HAMBLIN FAUX TORTOISE SHELL SPECTACLES, round colorless lenses, long temples with slight curve, unknown white metal hinges, accompanied by likely original leather-covered and felt-backed wooden case with lining stenciled "THEODORE / HAMBLIN LTD / 15. WIGMORE STREET. / LONDON, W.I. / AND PROVINCES", and a paper note with the name and address of a "Miss M.W. Bromley", possibly the original owner. First or second quarter 20th century. 7 1/4" L case.Condition Excellent condition, some tears to fabric of case and light scratching and wear/slight corrosion to glasses.
