STUNNING, IMPRESSIVE, GRAND...1990s Maison Jansen style cocktail table by Maitland Smith/Theodore Alexander. Two tiers. The top tier features a combination of tessellated stone with an inset band of ornately embossed brass which goes around the entire perimeter. There is a beveled glass center which exposes the ornately patterned lower tier. The exterior circumference of the top has ELABORATE AND THICK, gilt brass, wreath and laurel leaf mounts. The lower tier is a faux, eglomise which is again adorned with the same, embossed brass band as the top tier has. THERE ARE 8 TABLE LEGS, which are set as 4 pairs of two. Each leg features incredibly detailed, brass rams heads, curved bodies and hoof feet. The bodies are finished in a tortoise pattern, of gold and brown/bronze. The table has a series of stickers with numbers and a "Made in the Philippines" tag as well. When searching the numbers, both Maitland Smith and Theodore Alexander are presented. Very nice condition!
