AMERICAN BENNINGTON ATTRIBUTED FLINT ENAMEL ROCKINGHAM GLAZE POTTERY BOOK FLASK, mottled brown and tan glazes with occasional pale greenish spotting and streaking, approximately two-quart capacity, stamped "BENNINGTON / COMPANION / G" to spine. Probably Lyman, Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT. 1849-1858. 7 3/4" H, 2 5/8" W.Condition Mostly undamaged with very light scattered dull scratching/wear to glaze, and a 1" tight firing line at uppermost edge of spine.
