AMERICAN BENNINGTON ATTRIBUTED FLINT ENAMEL ROCKINGHAM GLAZE POTTERY BENNINGTON BOOK FLASKS, LOT OF TWO, mottled light or dark brown and tan/orange glazes, the darker example having occasional traces of blue spotting and streaking, each stamped "DEPARTED / SPIRITS" to spine. Probably Lyman, Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT. 1849-1858. 5 5/8" H, 2" W.Condition The lighter glazed flask undamaged; the darker example with heavy overall wear and scratching/scuffing to glaze including a couple small glaze chips to rear but otherwise undamaged.
