RICHMOND, VIRGINIA STONEWARE WHISKEY ADVERTISING JUG, Bristol-slip glazed, designated three-gallon capacity, cylindrical body with sharp shoulder, plain mouth, and applied strap handle. Printed stamp "H. CLARKE & SONS, / HIGH GRADE WHISKIES / Prompt Mail Order Service / RICHMOND, VA.", "3" gallon capacity, and two bands of alternating white and blue slip-trailed rings. Henry Clarke & Sons (Emile, Leon, and Sol), Richmond, VA. 1909-1916. 16 3/8" HOA.Condition Undamaged. Manufacturing flaws including some firing separations/lines to shoulder, as made.
