POLAROID VARIABLE DAY GLASSES / SUNGLASSES, celluloid/early plastic and metal composite frames and components, coated amber lenses and pinstripe textured plastic sideways-folding extensions, bendy wire temples, with felt-backed original rectangular case, reading "POLAROID VARIABLE DAY GLASSES" with logo inside. Circa 1940. 5 5/8" x 2 1/2" case.Condition Excellent condition, case virtually undamaged with some creasing to surface; glasses undamaged but with signs of aging including degradation to coating, some corrosion to arm hinges, and drying/hardening of thin plastic side-folding components.
