Original box w/illustrated lid contains 10.5" tall mostly tin litho toy depicting Mickey Mouse as magician. Line Mar, 1950s. Box shows moderate aging and wear, w/scattered color rubs and edge/corner tip wear. Lid has 1.25" glue repair to split corner and interior tape repair to .75" line puncture on lid's main panel. VG. Mickey has rubber hands, ears, nose, fabric jacket and cape, flocked top hat and cover on the top of the performing table marked "The Great Mickey." He holds a magic wand and toy is complete w/tin litho chick. Works and Mickey waves the wand as he raises/lowers the hat, making the chick disappear and re-appear. Some loss of flocking to top hat (more to underside of hat brim), but working and VF overall. Classic Disney battery toy. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
