Each having impressed "JM" and numerals to underside. Johann Maresch, Austria or Czechoslovakia. Second half 19th century. 9 5/8" HOA.Literature: Parallels Horowitz - Figural Humidors, Mostly Victorian, figure on log bundle p.113, fig. 499.Condition Figure on single log undamaged, having some scattered glaze wear, and possible minor paint touch-ups; woman mostly undamaged, having a minute flake to dress on base and possible paint touch-ups; figure sitting on bundle of logs having glued repair to top flange with related chip/loss, base having a chip and some minor scattered flakes to rim interior, and moderate paint touch-ups.
