MID-ATLANTIC EARTHENWARE / REDWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, each lead- and manganese-glazed, comprising a bold ovoid-form jug, approximately two-gallon capacity, rounded mouth, applied strap handle and double thumb-impressed lower terminal and pronounced foot and an ovoid-form pitcher with applied strap handle. Possibly Hagerstown, MD. 1800-1830. Jug 12 1/2" HOA, pitcher 8 1/4" H, Condition Jug in excellent, undamaged condition; pitcher having moderate restoration including neck broken and repaired in multiple sections, handle broken and repaired, each with some associated glaze losses and a chip to top handle terminal.
