14x22". First printing, BG-69-OP-1. Promoting June 20-25, 1967 concerts that took place at Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA featuring Jefferson Airplane, Gabor Szabo and Jimi Hendrix. Poster design by Clifford Charles Seeley features psychedelic image of woman w/her hands holding names of performers. Surface paper loss, tape stains and pin holes at corners. Faint and scattered toning and moderate handling. VG. This was the first show that Hendrix played after his landmark performance at the Monterey Pop Festival where he concluded his set by lighting his guitar on fire. After the audience reception Hendrix received during the first of these Fillmore shows, the members of Jefferson Airplane asked Hendrix if they could open the show for him and from there, as Bill Graham fondly reminisced, "Jimi Took The Town By Storm."
