CUT-OVERLAY GLASS STEINS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a cut Punties example with a ruby-stained exterior, and an amethyst to colorless with a cross-hatching and Punty and Diamond motif, each having a period mount with glass insert with the amethyst example's insert being ruby-stained and featuring a hunting dog. Various makers. Second half 19th century. 6 1/4" and 7" HOA. Condition Amethyst having a few scattered high-point flakes; Punties having a crack to the lower terminal of the handle, each having scattered wear; amethyst mouth having some minor losses to the interior rim.
