CONTINENTAL CERAMIC OCCUPATIONAL FIGURAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF THREE, comprising two postman examples including one head-form example having "POST" to hat and one full-bodied example depicting a standing man with a mail bag full of letters, and one railway head-form example having "Express" to hat, two having sponge holder tops. Marks to underside include impressed statue with "SCHUTZ-MARKE / DEPONIERT / MADE IN GERMANY", a shield with "JS", and various numerals. Josef Strnact, Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia; Schutz-Marke, Germany; and others. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. 11 3/8" HOA.Condition Head examples undamaged, "POST" having possible paint touch-ups; full-bodied example having a minute flake to underside of top edge, a minor chip to corner of top letter, a few scattered minute to minor flakes to base, and some scattered glaze wear/losses.
