Issued in the early 1910's, these silks were premiums issued by Murad cigarettes to entice smokers to buy their brand of cigarettes. Silks measures approximately 3.5" by 5". Each of the colleges / universities represented in this set have 10 different sports depicted - runner, hammer throw, shot put, hurdler, baseball pitcher, baseball batter, football, golfer, hockey and rowing. Each silks shows the athlete wearing school colors with the college seal in one of the corners. The condition is outstanding on most of the silks I have listed. Nice silk!!!
