This really nice looking tobacco silk was issued by Laurens cigarettes in the early 1910's to help sell their brands of cigarettes. The silk itself measures approximately 2" by 4". The silk features the college name and colors for the college. These silks look fantastic when framed or put in a shadow box. They are great collectibles for aluminae or someone that wants to put together a colorful set. There are approximately 50 silks in this set. Silks from this series are really tough to find!! I am looking for a couple silks to complete my set. Please look at my other auctions for more great college collectibles.
