This is an Extremely Rare vintage 1979 "NICKELODEON" Vinyl Lunchbox Set . This set is a solid R9 in Rarity. There has not been another one of these available on eBay in a long time, and as of the time of this listing this is the only one of these available on eBay . In my many years of collecting vintage lunch boxes I have only ever seen a few others of these. This was only available as a promotional lunchbox directly from the Nickelodeon Network at the time of Nickelodeon's TV launch in 1979, and it was never sold in retail stores. Very few of these were made, and even fewer have survived. The best part is that this lunchbox is in Near Mint to Mint condition. There are no rips or splits to the vinyl anywhere, including the hinge area. The hinge is still very tight, indicating that is was almost certainly never used as a lunchbox. The original styrofoam drink bottle is still inside, and that is almost always missing. Don't miss out on the chance to add this rare 35 year old set to your vintage lunchbox collection.
