TREE'S POINT FACTORY ATTRIBUTED, CHARLES CITY CO., VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "2" gallon capacity mark, cylindrical form with slight shoulder, flat-top rounded rim, beaded neck ring, dark brown-glazed interior. Brushed cobalt double closed-bloom floral design flanked by feather. Possibly Sanford Perry for Moro Phillips (1812-1885) at Tree's Point Factory, Charles City County, VA. 1850-1853. 13 1/8" H, 7" D rim. Condition Mostly undamaged, except having a chip to rim interior.
