AFA graded and encapsulated figural plastic action figure "Collector's Case" of Darth Vader produced as a first shot prototype in 1982 for Kenner's 1983 Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi toyline. Case features vacuum metallized gold finish over dull gold plastic case, as prototype was likely a mold test for the C-3PO Collector's Case. While other Darth Vader Collector's Case prototypes were made in white and ivory, they were never produced in these colors for the sales market. Archival case. Comes with notarized Collectible Investment Brokerage (CIB) LOA. Tad Moore Collection.
