In commemoration of the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. This crown was one of a number of silver crowns issued in proof form in commemoration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. The Queen Mothers 80th birthday was on the 4th August 1980. Low mintage of only 250,000 This proof coin is struck in sterling silver and measures 38.61mm in diameter and weighs 28.28 grammes. The coin is supplied in its original box complete with its certificate of authenticity.
