Panama 20 Balboa coin, 1971, 4.17 oz sterling silver NO RESERVE Huge coin weights more than a quarter pound and is almost 2.5" across (61mm). One of the largest legal tender coins ever made. Mint condition - untarnished. Coin has a Portrait of Simon Bolivar is frosted on a mirrored background - mint condition. Encased in a plastic holder from the mint and stored in the original white box with Certificate of Authenticity. Difficult to photograph mirrored surface; scratches in photo are velvet fibers that are on the surface of the acrylic capsule. Coin has never been removed for the cover; I have owned it for almost 40 years.
