Worked with polychrome silk threads on linen ground, with strawberry vine border, surrounding various registers of alphabet, pious verse, and patterned bands including flowers and crowns, the lower edge with green ground issuing morning glory vine and pansy plants, flanking a laurel register containing inscription, "Augusta Mary Norton/ June 6 1798," framed. 16 1⁄4 in. x 16 in.
