CONTINENTAL MAJOLICA CERAMIC LARGE FIGURAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF TWO, each depicting a standing gentleman, comprising one example wearing a purple, tassel-tied robe with cap and taking a pinch of snuff and one featuring a goateed man wearing a wool-lined robe and blue cap. Marks to underside include various numerals. Fourth quarter 19th century. 13 1/4" HOA.Condition Wool-lined robe gentleman in excellent visual condition having some professional restoration to top interior flange and cap brim; snuff taker having loss of tassel on cap, a hairline to lower half, and some scattered, mostly minor flakes.
