Presented is a game-used Louisville Slugger A181 Model baseball bat used by New York Mets shortstop prospect Luisangel Acuña. Acuña has signed the barrel of the bat in black ink; near his autograph, he has also signed his full name in block letters, adding the inscriptions "La Pression" (Spanish for "the pressure") and "2023 G/U. "The younger brother of Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr., Luisangel shares his sibling's blazing speed, swiping 42 bags in only 84 games for the Frisco RoughRiders in 2023 (the Texas Rangers AA affiliate) before serving as the top prospect in the trade that sent Max Scherzer to the Rangers. Across 121 games of Minor League play in 2023 (including his stints at both Frisco and Binghamton), Acuña hit .294 with nine homers, 63 RBI, and an exceptional 57 steals. The bat exhibits a significant crack in the handle, as well as tar residue on the taper, ink transfers on the barrel, and generalized wear consistent with its use throughout. Acuña's facsimile signature and the words "TEXAS RANGERS" are engraved near the end of the barrel.
