This is an Official Inaugural Medal made for Dwight Eisenhower's 2nd Inaugutal in 1957. Also featured with Ike is his Vice President Richard Nixon, as is the custom with the second term medals. Nice antique bronze finish and measuring 70mm in diameter, this heavy bronze was struck by the Medallic Arts Co. in New York. Makes a lovely presentation. Also included is the original box and the papers that describe the medal's importance. Thanks for looking. Member of the American Political Items Collectors since 1984.
