This is an original 1880s souvenir medal with some apparent connection to the Brooklyn Bridge. The bronze or brass medal is 23mm in diameter. Obverse features an engraving of the Bridge and East River traffic. Reverse features an array of workman's tools. I wonder if this signifies connection to somebody who participated in the construction of the Bridge? The medal shows no damage. Please see the enlargeable scans to judge condition for yourself. This is part of a collection of Brooklyn Bridge medals, tokens, memorabilia and ephemera that I assembled 30-40 years ago. I will be selling these items on eBay over the coming weeks.
