Shaheen was a Honolulu garment industry pioneer who started his business in 1947. They sold their clothing line to major department stores in the states, international accounts and in their seven retail stores in the Hawaiian Islands. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
