** Alfred Shaheen Maxi Dress Vintage Floral Orange Pink Brown Hankie hem Sleeves**A lovely vintage dress from Alfred Shaheen, Hawaii and California, made in the USA. Circa 1960s-early 70s. The outer fabric is a diaphanous, shimmering soft peachy-orange with a pattern of flowers and butterflies in orange, pink and soft brown. Bodice and skirt are lined in a solid soft orange fabric; sleeves are unlined and sheer. 91% polyester 9% nylon. Hand wash cold water, drip dry. Button front (fabric-covered buttons), semi-fitted bodice, foldover pointed collar. High-waisted with gathering at the waist. The sheer long sleeves have a wide handkerchief hem. Original belt is missing. There are skinny woven thread belt loops at the side side seams (they can easily be clipped off to wear it beltless). Size 14 by vintage standards; it will probably best fit a modern size 10 or a 12 with smallish waist. Measurements: bust 19.5" across between the armpits when laid flat, shoulder 17", waist 15" across, hip 25.5" across, total length 56.5", length shoulder to waist 16.5", length waist to hem 40". sweep at bottom edge 72" around. A lovely addition to your vintage dress collection. It's in very good, gently pre-owned condition. No stains, holes or funky odors.
