We are truly fortunate to have acquired a very large collection of original MGM publicity photos of the early part of Elizabeth Taylor's screen career. Consisting exclusively of portrait and publicity photos (not screen shots) dating from the beginning of her screen career with MGM in the early 1940s through her rapid ascent in the early 1950s, this has to be one of the finest collections of such photos in private hands. The span of images of Taylor from age 9 through 15 is breathtaking considering how difficult it is to find original publicity shots from this period.
