Hi, here is an original camouflage German World War One steel helmet in great vintage condition. I believe it is an M 16 model. It is in original condition and has not been painted or cleaned or brushed. There are no holes or dents. The leather liner rim is intact. We don't have any more of the liner. The helmet is marked as shown with a serial number of 8544 on the inside top and marked G 62 on the inside edge. It is also signed with the soldier's signature which appears to be Siegwald, M. W. 309. My grandfather was a doughboy WW I veteran who fought in France with the Pennsylvania 28th infantry and brought this back after the war and it has been stored with his helmet in a box in our basement for the last 90 plus years. My grandfather's helmet is pictured in the last two photos. IT IS NOT INCLUDED AND NOT FOR SALE! I am just showing the photos of his helmet for the provenance for this one. The height is 7 inches and the length is 11 3/4 inches long and 9 inches at its widest point . I will be happy to answer any other questions as best I can, if needed. I will ship to the continental U.S. at the shipping listed above. Outside the continental U.S. the shipping will be calculated. I will only ship the the United States and Canada . I am not a dealer. This item comes from a smoke free home. Any questions, please inquire as all sales
