Complete 10 volume set of The Works of Edgar Allan Poe! The Tales and Poems with a Life of the Author by James Russell Lowell. Illustrated with full-page plates, including five water-colors. Published by Henry W. Knight, New York. No date, I believe these are early 1900's. New Forham Edition. This Edition of the Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe is limited to one thousand numbered Copies, of which this is Copy No. 617.Books are hardcover with blue fabric covering, top edges of the pages are gold gilded. Page edges are rough & uncut. Pages are thick textured paper. Each book is about 5 1/2" wide, 7 3/4" tall. Thin "parchment paper" over each title page of each book is intact. Good condition, not a lot of wear. Most of the wear shows on the labels on the spines. Mostly discoloration, some peeling at the corners.
