This lovely old tea set was purchased at an auction. The sticker on the bottom of the teapot says Wm. Rogers Silver Plate. On one leg is engraved I S Co. I have no idea how old or new it is, so I hope I listed it in the right category. I believe I S means International Silver. The teapot is approx. 9" tall and it is approx. 9 1/2" outside of handle to end of spout. The lid is hinged with a small pineapple on top. The handle and spout are very ornate. T are some dark streaks on the inside. The set is in good shape with no dents or major scratches. The set was very tarnished when purchased. I cleaned it with tarnish remover but it would probably really look great with a good polish. The creamer is approx. 2 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" handle to spout. And the sugar bowl is approx. 4 1/2" tall and 6" outside one handle to outside the other. The creamer does not have a lide and I don't know if it ever did. The tray is also Rogers but looks newer than the set but maybe not. The tray is approx. 12 1/2" in diameter and has a beautiful floral design with roses. T are a few darker areas on them. I don't collect silver so I don't know if that is natural for old silver or if it will buff out. It is a very pretty set and would look great on an antique buffet.
