Wilton Armetale"1776" Crest Bicentennial PlatterWilton introduced the Revolutionary series of dinnerware in 1971; it was based on an adaptation of an early American dinner plate. It was later issued with a crest of "1776" on the rim commemorative of the American Bicentennial. This large round platter has the 1776 Bicentennial crest from Wilton Armetale. This polished platter is about 13" across, with a raised crest on the rim. The underside has the Wilton Armetale trademarks.This is a thick, heavy platter. It weighs about 2-1/2 pounds, before boxing for shipment. It can be shipped by USPS Priority Mail, or by UPS Ground.No chips, no cracks, pitting or corrosion. There are some scuffs, scratches, rub marks and tiny mold voids. Some color variation, some very small areas of very light etching. The uneven surface is meant to add an air of age and authenticity.
